Synchronous Health Financial Policy

Effective June 6, 2016

Delivering whole person care includes both clear communication and tending to financial health. To that end, below is our financial policy.

Insurance: We are in-network with some insurance carriers and do our best to verify that we are in your insurance network before beginning your care. We will file claims with your insurance carrier. If you choose to work with a Specialist who is not in your insurance network, you are still able to receive care but you will be responsible for the full fees for services received.

Participant Responsibility: If we are in your insurance network you may still be responsible for a co-pay and deductible. We ask that you enter your credit or debit card number into the participant portal and we will charge your card at the time of your service.

Late Cancels and No Shows: Session times are reserved for you. In the event that you are unable to attend an appointment, please cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session. If you do not cancel your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged the full rate of your appointment. This could result in a higher charge than you would pay if you had attended your appointment. This is because insurance will not pay for sessions not attended, so you will be charged the insurance portion of your session fee in addition to any co-pay or other charges you incur. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the time of your Specialist, as your Specialist respects your time.

Release of Information: You hereby authorize Synchronous Health, Inc and its billing services to release to governmental agencies, insurance carriers and others who are financially liable for services rendered information needed to substantiate claims and payment.
